ABOUT THE BRIDGE X
SCROLL
As September settles over the East End, the legendary Bridgehampton Race Circuit awakens once more. Its storied roadways are reimagined as the backdrop for one of the most exclusive gatherings in the automotive world: The Bridge. This year, the event marks a significant milestone as it celebrates a decade.
What began as a tribute to the golden age of American road racing has evolved into a cultural moment that celebrates not just the car, but the art, history, and future of mobility. On the rolling fairways of the iconic track turned golf course, more than 300 rare and extraordinary automobiles are displayed with reverence, each chosen for its ability to honor the racing legacy and ethos of the site. Against the sweeping views of the Peconic, enthusiasts and collectors from around the world gather to witness automotive history in motion.
The tenth edition also offers an opportunity to reflect on the preservation story that made The Bridge possible. Built in 1957 across more than 500 acres of sandy hills and dales overlooking Peconic Bay, the Bridgehampton Race Circuit became an icon of post-war American motorsport before facing the prospect of redevelopment. Its eventual preservation ensured that the spirit of the circuit would endure, with elements of the original track and its racing heritage still woven throughout the property today.
Now in its tenth year, The Bridge is as much about looking forward as it is about celebrating the past. Brand milestones and new chapters come to life beside timeless icons, reminding us that design, performance, and innovation are always in dialogue.
The automotive industry itself is in a state of metamorphosis. Alongside heritage models and masterpieces of engineering, The Bridge showcases the bold steps manufacturers are taking toward electrification, sustainability, and new expressions of luxury mobility. From pioneering EVs to visionary design concepts, the exhibition reflects a future being shaped as thoughtfully as the past is preserved.
As the season turns and autumn begins to edge out summer, The Bridge stands as a symbol of change and continuity, where nostalgia and progress meet, where an extraordinary piece of motorsport history continues to be preserved, and where the passion for driving finds new meaning year after year.
