ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

SCROLL

I consider myself among the lucky, not just to work with my incredible partners, Bob and Shamin, but to be able to curate the exhibition of extraordinary vehicles for our little garden party. On the eve of our ninth edition, I find myself looking back at those first iterations and what helped us grow from some 60 cars to more than 300 on display today. And truthfully, the formula hasn’t changed all that much. We like to tell stories through visual design cues, racing contemporaries, style icons, and sometimes simply through color. While we are fortunate to showcase a deep bench of blue-chip classics and rare-as-hen’s-teeth hypercars, it’s the interplay of the vehicles with one another and with these incredible surroundings that sets The Bridge apart in my mind.

As I do every year, I invite you to take the long stroll around the exhibition, from the clubhouse, to the 9th hole, through the entirety of the 18th, and not forgetting the party on Bridge Beach. Grab a drink and a bite, and wander past groupings of Porsche 911s and 356 hotrods, an extraordinary display of (mostly) non-red Ferraris on the croquet lawn, and a staged “paused race” of Ford GTs against Porsche RS and Ferrari Speciales and Pistas. Experience vintage luxury with the collection of Mercedes-Benz at the clubhouse, and of course, take in the designs of today’s modern supercars.

More than anything, The Bridge is a family of collectors and enthusiasts who converge once a year at one of the birthplaces of racing in America. Welcome back, and welcome to the show!

SINCERELY,
