ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
SCROLL
Robert Rubin has been captivated by cars since childhood. After leaving blue-collar New Jersey for Wall Street, he discovered the world of international sports cars and Formula One, expanding his passion for muscle cars to include vintage Ferraris, Maseratis, Alfas, and Bugattis. After 26 years of working as a commodities trader, Rubin switched gears and enrolled in the Theory and History of Architecture Ph. D. program at Columbia. While remaining an avid car enthusiast, he has published books and articles on Richard Prince, Alexander Calder, Alan Ginsberg, and Richard Avedon, preserved important architecture by Pierre Chareau, Buckminster Fuller and Jean Prouvé, and curated multi-disciplinary exhibitions at major museums in New York, Los Angeles and Paris. He has also won trophies at Pebble Beach, the Monterey Historics, and the Louis Vuitton Classic in Paris. Rubin's most recent book is Vanishing Point Forever, a love letter to the greatest car movie ever made.
Shamin Abas leads her eponymous boutique firm that specializes in communications and experiential marketing for some of the world’s finest brands. Shamin sits on The Luxury Council at NYU Stern School of Business and is also Co-Founder of CarCoterie.
Jeffrey Einhorn, a Manhattan attorney, has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with all things automotive – and in the process, he has acquired an encyclopedic knowledge of post-war sports and racing vehicles. He is the curator for the vehicles on display at The Bridge, pulling together a diverse selection by attending vintage automobile auctions, shows, and races throughout the year. Jeffrey is also the co-founder of CarParkNYC, which conceives of and produces distinctive and convivial events for the enthusiast community in New York and the surrounding areas, and the co-founder of CarCoterie with Shamin Abas, which produces over-the-top exhibitions such as The Hangar – featuring sports and racing vehicles, supercars, watches and vintage aircraft.
