1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Coupé

This exceptional 300 SL has had only two prior owners since it was delivered new in 1955 by Max Hoffman in NYC to D.W Kingsley, Jr. It stayed with the family until his passing in 2006, and then went back to Italy where it was owned by two brothers. In June of 2025, this car was purchased and went to Bechtel Classic Motors, steps away from the Mercedes factory where it was first hand built, to be restored to its exact original specifications. The car is one of less than five built new in 353 blue with a 1079 red leather interior and factory installed Rudge wheels.
