1966 Shelby GT-350

Ivy Green with white LeMans stripes. The last 1966 Shelby sold new, on March 25th, 1967 to its first owner. One of the few cars produced for 1966, the last year for the first generation Mustang.

All significant original VIN locations are intact and include the Shelby VIN plate, Fender Apron with Ford VIN and 289 Engine block with original Ford engine number corresponding to the VIN.

This very unique 1966 Shelby Mustang was built to drive!

Tastefully modified with R-model modifications both in period, and by the owner previously to myself to make this a period correct club racer / high performance street car. With its 331 cid engine with Paxton supercharger, the car has serious straight line acceleration, and more than ample back road grunt coming out of the turns. Full of character, one of the most entertaining Mustangs I’ve ever driven.
