1968 BMW R60

BMW R60 US (often designated as the R60/2 U.S.) is a rare, highly collectible variant of BMW's iconic 600cc boxer-twin touring motorcycle, manufactured exclusively from 1967 to 1969. Designed specifically for the American market, it bridged the gap between the classic "Slash 2" era and the upcoming "Slash 5" generation.

Because the R60 US was only built for a short window, production numbers were quite low. For example, it is estimated that only 443 units of the R60/2 U.S. specification bikes were produced for the 1968 model year
