Ludus Vitalis- The game of life.

Ludus Vitalis began as a journal, a publication conceived in the early nineties by my father and his colleagues, an intellectual haven for those who saw life not as mere biology but as a phenomenon of significance, where physics, philosophy, and imagination converge. When the journal ceased, the idea refused to fade. It found a new form: not as a printed page, but as a living object: a work of restoration and design.

This 964 Targa is that object. №001.

The approach is restraint. Each panel was restored or remade with reverence; the chassis strengthened with modern and lighter materials yet faithful to its original geometry; the engine reinvented: power boosted to 400hp, reliability renewed; suspension, brakes, hand steering evolved to meet the demands of the present and a hand made interior. All preserving the soul of the past. Every decision balanced innovation with restraint, precision with emotion.

To restore is to study. To disassemble what was, to comprehend its logic, and to rebuild with reverence. In that act, engineering becomes interpretation. The GS Manufaktur workshop turned it into a laboratory of understanding.

This is not a restoration built for the market. It is a heart-made restoration built as a philosophical act: an argument, gently, with time.
