1998 Lamborghini Diablo SV

For the past 25 years, I have proudly owned my Giallo Yellow Lamborghini Diablo SV, one of the most iconic supercars ever built.

Introduced in 1995, the Diablo SV (Sport Veloce) was Lamborghini's purest driver's car, featuring a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 510 horsepower, a 5-speed manual transmission, and rear-wheel drive. Capable of 0–60 mph in under 4 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph, it was among the fastest production cars of its time.

With only approximately 250 pre-facelift SV models produced, the Diablo SV is one of the rarest and most sought-after Lamborghinis of its era.

After a quarter century, this car remains much more than an exotic automobile—it represents the final generation of truly analog supercars. Its unmistakable V12 soundtrack, gated manual shifter, and timeless Marcello Gandini-inspired design continue to make every drive as unforgettable today as it was when I first brought it home.
