1967 BMW 2000 CS

One of 2,584 Coupés made for the model year and factory equipment includes two-speed windshield wipers, backup lights and power brakes. This 1967 European spec BMW “E120” 2000 CS has a 4-speed manual transmission. The power plant for the CS is the signature M10 4-cylinder engine with a 9.3:1 compression ratio producing 120 hp. The cylinder head is a "121" with a 42.1 mm pin-to-deck coupled with 5.2 mm-domed pistons (piano tops). The fuel supply is via two Solex 40 PHH dual twin choke carburetors. The CS accelerates zero to 60 in 10.4 seconds with a top end speed of 110 mph. The odometer in this fifty-eight year old 2000 CS shows 4006 original miles (the car spent 35 + years in a climate controlled BMW showroom in Sacramento).

This car has undergone a meticulous nearly four year restoration by one of the internationally renowned experts on BMWs, Ray Korman.
