1974 Porsche  911 Carrera (MFI)

0015 is the fifth Carrera manufactured for 1974 and is a rest-of-world (ROW) mechanically fuel-injected (MFI) example that was not available in the United States at the time. This is an Italian-delivered car manufactured in July 1973, a few weeks after the 1973 model year production had wrapped up. Because the car is an early production vehicle, it carries over some "leftover" characteristics of the 1973 model year (tunnel reinforcements as found on the 1973 Carrera RS), as well as some unique transitional elements that are a hybrid of 1973 and 1974 model year designs. This MFI Carrera is powered by a numbers-matching 210 bhp 2.7-liter engine, a powerplant carried over from the 1973 Carrera RS. The car was imported from Italy in 2011 and recently completed a multi-year restoration to bring it back to how the vehicle was delivered in Padova, Italy back in August 1973.
