1991 BMW M3 Cabrio

The owner purchased this car in 2003 in Dortmund, Germany after a long, long search for an E30 M3 Cabrio, which were not available for sale here in the States.

The particular car he found turned out to be one of the last six built in June of 1991, and was a special order from BMW Motorsport's bespoke division, BMW Individual. It came equipped with Laguna Green paint work, Lotus White interior, and the ultra rare extended leather treatment, including a leather covered dashboard, and a  suede lined glove box.  Of 786 hand-built cars, it is the only one like this.

Having found what was arguably one of the rarest E30’s made, he bought the car and imported it in 2005, having spent the prior two years negotiating the sale with the owner, and then spent the next four years restoring the car back to its original factory specifications.
