BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY– SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

THE INVITE-ONLY GARDEN PARTY MARKS TEN YEARS ON THE GROUNDS OF THE FORMER BRIDGEHAMPTON RACE CIRCUIT, SHOWCASING A PRIZED EXHIBITION OF RARE AND CLASSIC AUTOMOBILES

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY – JUNE 17, 2026 – This September, The Bridge returns to the storied fairways of The Bridge golf club, which sits on the hallowed grounds of the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit, marking a decade of one of the nation’s most original and exclusive automotive events. On Saturday, September 19, the by-invitation event will bring together an extraordinary selection of rare and seldom-seen vehicles, drawn from some of the world’s finest private collections, across a landscape that still carries the spirit of the racing that once defined it.

The Bridge X, presented by Mercedes-Benz USA, celebrates the Hamptons’ deep ties to the world of racing. The milestone arrives in a landmark year for the presenting sponsor as well. In 2026, Mercedes-Benz celebrates its 140th anniversary, 140 years since Carl Benz filed the patent for the first automobile in 1886. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to experience "Lines of Motion," an art installation that celebrates 140 years of Mercedes-Benz through a bold landscape of color, form and movement. Inspired by a legacy of innovation, the installation transforms The Bridge Pro Shop exterior into a large-scale composition of alternating bands of rich color that extend across architecture, through to the ground and to the curated selection of vehicles. For more than a century, Mercedes-Benz has shaped the future of mobility through pioneering technology, unmistakable design and an unwavering commitment to creating the world’s most desirable vehicles. At The Bridge X, color becomes a visual expression of this spirit with graphic rhythm that evokes movement and progress, reflecting the constant innovation that has driven the brand forward since 1886.

A decade on, The Bridge is unlike any other automotive event in the world, one of the only gatherings of its kind staged on the grounds of a historic racing circuit. The original Bridgehampton Race Circuit was designed by Grumman engineers and built in 1957 across more than 500 acres of sandy hills and dales overlooking Peconic Bay. Conceived as an answer to New York’s ban on racing on public roads, it quickly became an icon of post-war American motorsport. By the early 1970s, however, the track was on the verge of being lost to development, until The Bridge co-founder Bob Rubin stepped in to rescue the land and preserve it as the club that stands there today. It’s this heritage that served as the concept for the event ten years ago, and is still seen throughout the grounds today.

This year’s event will also see the return of partners, including Volvo, which will present its recently announced all-electric EX60; Merrill, a Bank of America Company; Luminari Motor Company; Expedition Motor Company; and Topping Rose House.

New partners joining the event this year include Breguet, Twisted Automotive, Aston Martin, and The Twenty Five.

The Bridge at Topping Rose House will return on Sunday, September 20, from 11 am until 2 pm and will once again be limited to 500 guests. Taking place in the historic hotel’s beautiful gardens, the afternoon will feature Mercedes-Benz vehicles celebrating a legacy of innovation while racing confidently toward the future alongside bites from acclaimed Chef Jean-Georges. Tickets are priced at $275 per person, with ticket sales contributing to Heart of the Hamptons, a Southampton-based nonprofit that provides a weekly food pantry and emergency assistance for local individuals, seniors, and families in crisis.

The Bridge is a collaboration between Robert Rubin, who has owned the Bridgehampton Race Circuit since 1981 and founded The Bridge golf club in 2002, and the event’s organizers: Shamin Abas, President of Shamin Abas Associates, and Jeffrey Einhorn, a Manhattan-based attorney.

True to its founders' intent, The Bridge crowns no winners and hands out no trophies. The co-founders share a singular vision for the event: to honor art, design, history, and the automobile, not competition.

Robert Rubin shares, "This property has meant something to car people for a long time. All the greats of the era raced here: Gurney, Andretti, Moss, McLaren, Hansgen, Shelby, Hulme, Rodriguez, Surtees...it's a long list. As we mark ten years of The Bridge, I look around and see people who were here in the sixties standing next to people who weren't even born when this was still a viable racetrack. That history feels more alive than ever. That's the thing I'm most proud of."

Presenting sponsor for The Bridge X is Mercedes-Benz USA. Partners of the event to date include: Volvo, Merrill, Breguet, Expedition Motor Company, Luminari Motor Company, Topping Rose House, Twisted Automotive, Aston Martin, and The Twenty Five.
