First SCCA Pro Rally event 1995 Maine Forest Rally piloted by owner Henry Joy IV (his great grandfather Henry Bourne Joy was president of Packard Motor Car Company 1902-1917). The car was built to the highest spec of the day, group A specification.
Car won LSPR rally in 1995. And Rim of the World in 1997. And plenty of other events where it podiumed. It has a deep history racing stateside.
In early 2000s timing belt snapped. Car sat in barn until 2020 when RKT Motorsports got their hands on it and started a multi year restoration where it was torn down to bare metal, previous damage fixed, and every part restored to original rally spec.
