1998 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type R Limited

This is a JDM first generation Impreza WRX STI Type R Limited, that I bought in Hiroshima and imported last year. I imported it because we never got the first generation STI (GC8) here. This one was the basis for the WRC car Prodrive built for Subaru from 1997-2000. This is a Type R, meaning it was a 2-door rather than a sedan, making it a more ideal platform for a rally car. This was also a “Limited” model which included a roof vent, water spray intercooler, cherry blossom red emblem, as well as sonic blue paint and gold wheels to match the factory rally car paint scheme. This particular example is highly original and has just 63k miles from new and is in exceptional condition with no modifications.
